What is Jun Kombucha?
‘The Champaign of Kombucha’. Matcha Green Tea made with Spring Water fermented with Organic local Raw Honey with an Heirloom Jun SCOBY (Symbiotic Culture of Bacteria & Yeasts). Refreshing and thirst quenching. Effervescent with a sweet and sour tang. Served cold straight from the bottle. Raw/unpasteurized.
Which honey and why?
Vigouroots uses only the best local, organic honey. I source it directly from a friend who has hives on Dartmoor and treats the bees and hives with the utmost love and care. The bee’s are very happy. They are not fed sugar solutions nor their hives chemically cleaned. This honey is clean, vibrant and packed with nutrients.
Which green tea?
Vigouroots uses the best organic green tea available at the time of production.
Vigouroots Jun is bustling with live cultures. On arrival it may be very fizzy so please pop it straight in the fridge and open slowly and carefully to avoid it bubbling over. Refrigerating your Jun Tea slows fermentation keeping it on the sweeter side. Read more on Jun Tea care in FAQS.
